Introduction

This five-day course teaches how to design, build and operate dashboards that drive decisions. You will learn how to pick the right metrics, shape data for fast queries, and present results so stakeholders act. The course covers interactive features, performance considerations, and basic governance. Exercises use real reporting scenarios and end-to-end dashboard delivery.

Objectives

1. Define dashboard purpose, audience and the key performance indicators that support decisions.
2. Prepare and model source data so dashboards query efficiently and produce reliable results.
3. Build interactive dashboards with filters, drill-downs and parameter controls to support exploration.
4. Apply layout, visualization and labeling practices that highlight priority information and avoid misinterpretation.
5. Put dashboards into production by scheduling refreshes, configuring access, and documenting maintenance responsibilities.
